The School Resource Officer Unit will soon attend
the Tennessee School Resource Officers Association’s, 2006 Conference, June 12-16, 2006 in Murfreesboro, TN. School Resource Officers,
School Administrators, school system supervisors and other law enforcement
personnel from around the state will be in attendance. Bullying, Rapid
Deployment for the SRO, Methamphetamine Awareness, Child Abuse and the
Internet, Teen Suicide and Critical Response to School Shootings, will be some
of the many classes offered to all conference attendees. For more information

3rd
Annual, Maury County Sheriff’s Rodeo
The 3rd
Annual, Maury County Sheriff’s Rodeo is scheduled for July 7th and 8th,
2006 at 8:00 p.m. at the Maury County Park. This event is an I.P.R.A.
sanctioned rodeo and will host some of the top riders in the south. Seven
events are scheduled including Bareback riding, Bull riding, Saddle bronc, Calf
roping, Steer wrestling, Cowgirl barrel racing and Team Roping. As in the past,
you will be entertained throughout the evening with games and other special
shows in the arena. Ticket information will be posted soon.
